Convert media into Theora format using VLC Media Player – GUI
Download and install VLC Media Player from http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
Open VLC Media Player. From the Menu, Select Media -> Convert / Save…

On the Open Media window, Click Add to select the media that you want to convert. If it has external subtitle (a movie for example), you can click on Browse to select subtitle file for the media. Finally click on Convert / Save

On the Convert window, Enter or Browse the Destination file (output file) and select suitable profile. In this case we choose Video – Theora + Vorbis (OGG). If you want to customize the quality of the output file, select the setting icon next to the dropbox. You will then be able to modify the quality of video and audio output.
